Microsoft Corp. bosses ask laid-off employees to return severance pay money.

Seattle, WA (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–Microsoft Corp., one of the largest U.S. computer software companies who laid off some 1,400 workers in January reported to the Associated Press (AP) on Monday they inadvertently paid the exiting employees too much in severance. Microsoft claims and administrative glitch used to calculate the fired workers’ last paychecks resulted in some employees receiving too much money.

Microsoft wants their money back. Microsoft, based in Redmond, announced early this year it would lay off up to 5,000 employees and began with 1,400 ending round one of the mass job cut plan. The executives are asking former employees to reimburse the company by check or money order within two weeks of the recent announcement.
