Orlando, FL (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–The Orlando Sentinel reported a Newark, Ohio man was critically injured early Monday morning when the car he was driving was struck by a Ford SUV. According to the Orlando Police Department, 54 year-old Joseph Archer, was transported by Orlando emergency medical personnel to Orlando Regional Medical Center after he was critically injured in a car crash.
Police investigators report the Ford Explorer driven by Bruno Smith of Orlando, Florida was traveling on S.R. 408 near Crystal Lake Drive at approximately 1:06 a.m. When it struck Archer’s Ford Focus. Apparently Archer was stopped in the lane and Smith did not see the car until it was too late crashing into the left rear-side of the Focus. The SUV accident pushed the car into the concrete barrier wall on the highway and caused it to rollover. Archer is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries and is being treated by doctors and nurses on Orlando Regional’s burn unit.
