Broward County car drives off I-595 crashing 30 feet below onto University Drive.
Ft. Lauderdale, FL (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–Florida Highway Patrol and fire rescue crews responded to a fatal car crash at about 4:00 a.m. on eastbound State Road 84 at University Drive. As reported by cbs4, a motor vehicle was traveling westbound on I-595 when the driver of the car drove over a concrete barrier and fell 30 feet onto University Drive.
Apparently the two men in the vehicle were ejected from the car when it flew off Florida’s I-595 and crash landed onto the roadway 30 feet below. One man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and the other was transported by emergency medical personnel to an area trauma center. The survivor of the fatal car crash was listed in critical condition. FHP highway crash fatality detectives are investigating the cause of the automobile accident and the names of the driver or the passenger have not been released.
