Port Authority of New York and New Jersey alerts Newark personal injury attorneys- Newark Liberty Airport Marriott shuttle bus crashed into FedEx transit bus.
New York, NY—Two people were left injured and one man left dead after a head-on bus crash at Newark Liberty Airport. The fatal two-bus accident occurred on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 1:30 a.m., as reported by the New York Post.
According to Port Authority officials, a Marriott hotel courtesy shuttle and a First Transit bus contracted by FedEx collided head on. The bus accident left three unidentified passengers of the shuttle bus injured. The shuttle bus occupants were transported by area emergency medical services (EMS) crews to a nearby hospital. According to officials one of the injured women is listen in serious but stable condition. The courtesy shuttle bus driver and the FedEx driver were transported by EMS personnel University hospital in Newark. The Marriott bus driver was pronounced dead by attending medical professionals after arriving at the hospital for treatment. Port Authority police are currently conducting a full accident investigation.
