Mayor Villaraigosa to Attend Tarzana Village Walk Whole Foods Market Grand Opening

/EINPresswire.com/ Tarzana, CA - May 7, 2010 — Pacific Equity Properties, Inc. is pleased to announce the grand opening of its new lifestyle center, Village Walk, and welcomes a flagship Whole Food Market opening Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Village Walk will be opened by Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Councilman Dennis Zine. A bread-breaking ceremony will be held at 8:45 a.m. to officially open Whole Foods Market to the public.

Whole Foods Market Village Walk, a 250,000 sf mixed use development on 5 ½ acres of land, is located at 18700 Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana. The commercial portion consists of a 50,000 sf Whole Foods Market and 100,000 sf of upscale, boutique shops and restaurants. The future residential component will consist of 72 high-end townhouse and loft condominium units, ranging up to 2,400 sf.
