The social media phenomenon know as Facebook has reached a milestone of 500 million users. To put that in perspective, the social networking site now has more users that there are people living in all of the United States, Mexico and France combined. To reach the 500 million mark, Facebook has added 100 million users in the past five months and continues to grow at a fast pace. Currently the majority of Facebook’s users (about 70%) and located outside of the US.
