According to market research firm Nielsen, a recent report shows sites like Facebook and Twitter are more commonly used than email for keeping in touch with friends and coworkers. A staggering 23 percent of the time online users spend browsing is on these and other such social media sites. Facebook membership numbers are at 500 million, and so the question stands—when it comes to keeping in touch online, will Facebook eventually replace email?
