Facebook is an avenue Evesham Police Department utilizes in an effort to shame people out of crime. Arrestees from Fraud to Impersonating an Officer have already been posted on the Facebook page. The site has drawn many comments both for and against. One of the issues has been people’s right to innocence until proven guilty. If not guilty, the long term effects could be never-ending, especially when Mashable reports 45% of employers use social media sites like Facebook to research interviewers.
