Paris – A French Jihad network chief has been sentenced for terrorism charges. The Associated Press reported the man, Mohamed Achamlane, who claimed to be the “emir” of the Forsane Alizza (Knights of Pride) group, was sentenced by a Paris court to 9 years in prison after being accused of plotting attacks against Jewish businesses in France and other crimes.
Thirteen other individuals were reportedly convicted of being criminally affiliated with a terrorist enterprise and received prison sentences of up to six years, with the only female defendant receiving a suspended sentence of 12 months.
