Japanese car company plus Alabama auto dealer sued over warranties
Huntsville, AL (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–American Suzuki Motor Corporation and the owner/operator of two closed Suzuki car dealerships in Huntsville and Sheffield, Alabama have been sued by two local residents. According to the Huntsville Times, lawyers for two plaintiffs have filed lawsuits in Lauderdale County Circuit Court alleging Suzuki and its local affiliated sold automobile warranties and have failed to provide service.
The wronged consumers claim, in court documents filed on Monday, Varsity Suzuki in Huntsville, Shoals Suzuki in Shoals, and American Suzuki Motor Corp., closed all North Alabama dealerships and breached their sales contracts by failing to perform warranty services. The business litigation attorneys also cited the auto maker and the dealerships did not provide alternative services for local Alabama Suzuki car, pickup truck, and SUV drivers. The documents filed in court are also asking the Circuit Court judge to consider class action status.
