Prince George County officials investigate Riverdale MARC versus Metrobuses crash.

Baltimore, MD (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–On Thursday, Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) www.mtamaryland.com stated a Maryland Area Rail Commuter (MARC) passenger train and two Metrobuses crashed. As reported by the Baltimore Sun, a Metrobus was crossing the railroad tracks near Queensbury Road and Rhode Island Avenue, in Riverdale, when a MARC train hit the tail end of the bus.

Prince George’s County fire department officials said the commuter bus, hit by the MARC train, was then pushed into another Metrobus. Five passengers riding on the bus, struck by the train were injured and transported by emergency medical personnel to a local hospital. One commuter, aboard the MARC passenger train, was also injured and transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) www.e-mdot.com officials remain investigating the train wreck.
