Los Angeles – Country singer LeAnn Rimes has filed a lawsuit against her dentist over misdiagnosis claims. As reported by E! Online, the star, whose affair with and subsequent marriage to actor Eddie Cibrian has received substantial media attention, has accused her dentist, Dr. Duane C. McKay of misdiagnosing her dental problems and causing her further complications.
Rimes asserts in the suit that McKay gave her veneers and crowns that were poor quality and caused her “severe tooth pain, gum inflammation and chronic gum bleeding.”
The singer is further quoted as alleging in the lawsuit that her “ability to perform as an artist has been and will continue to [be] significantly compromised until all re-treatment is completed.” Rimes is seeking unspecified general damages and other damages.
