San Diego – A third woman has stepped forward with accusations that San Diego Mayor Bob Filner has made sexual advances against her. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the woman publicly identified herself on Wednesday purporting that Filner had tried to kiss her in a restaurant repeatedly during a campaign meeting while he was a congressman.
Morgan Rose, a psychologist for the San Diego Unified School District, is quoted by the AP as stating to KPBS, that Filner told her, “Your eyes have bewitched me” before trying to kiss her on the mouth.
Rose is further quoted as stating that she replied to him, “Would you please go back so we can continue this meeting? This is an important topic.”
Filner previously apologized for some of his actions in an interview after initial allegations were made against him, but has refused repeated calls that he resign.
