Tennessee – Former White Stripes frontman Jack White denies claims made by his estranged wife that he made threats against her in a recent court filing. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the filing was made in response to a request for a temporary restraining order by British singer and model Karen Elson. Elson was granted the order pending a hearing.
White’s attorney, Cathy Speers Johnson is quoted by the AP as stating, “The reason for filing this response is that Mr. White does not want to be portrayed as something he is not, violent to his wife or children.”
White has requested that a temporary parenting plan be established by the court.
