Arizona – The father of Arizona Cardinals player Dan Williams was killed in a car accident while traveling to see his son play. As reported by USA Today Williams’ father was traveling to New Orleans from Memphis to see his son’s team play against the Saints, according to a spokesperson for the team.
As noted in the report, the mother and sister of Williams were also in the vehicle when the accident occurred, but survived.
Williams is a nose tackle for the Cardinals. He did not travel to New Orleans to play in Sunday’s game.
