Miami – A suspect was arrested following a police chase near Miami that ended in a head-on collision. As reported by the Miami Herald, the suspect was apprehended after a short manhunt on Tuesday.
As noted in the report, the incident began after a man identified as a burglary suspect fled in a van. The rush hour chase was caught on video by local television news outlets, showing the driver weaving through traffic in a stolen vehicle heading south towards Miami on Interstate 95.
The suspect jumped out of the van and fled after crashing into a motorist on Southwest First Street and 16th Avenue.
The suspect is now facing multiple charges.
