France – Google is being accused of unjustly withholding $46,000 in AdSense earnings from an entrepreneur who claims the search giant banned his website from the program. As reported by Business Insider, 19-year-old Idris Sami says the $46,000 he earned from people clicking on his MesTextos.com ads was returned to his advertisers, after Google cancelled his account.

Sami says Google alleged in an email sent to him that MesTextos had been forcing or incentivizing people to click on the site, which is a violation of the rules. He claims to not have been warned about the issue until too late.

Sami says he is now working with an attorney to demand that Google give him the money he says was lost in the AdSense revenue.

A spokesperson for Google is quoted as stating to Business Insider, “… we always send a note to the publisher explaining which policy was in question and, in many cases, give them a chance to make changes to their pages to keep the account in good standing. Publishers are also given an opportunity to appeal policy decisions.”
