Los Angeles – Actress Paula Patton has filed for divorce from singer Robin Thicke after being separated from her husband for over seven months. As reported by the New York Post, TMZ claims Patton cited irreconcilable differences in the filing.
Patton is reportedly seeking joint custody of Julian, the four-year-old son the couple shares.
Since the announcement of their split months ago, Thicke has publicly made attempts to reconcile with his wife, including titling his most recent album after her. He stated during a Hot 97 interview in July; however, that he had not seen his estranged wife in four months.
Thicke has also been the focus of recent media reports over his admission that he lied about participating in the writing of the hit song “Blurred Lines.”
