New Jersey – “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice has filed a lawsuit against her attorney over her prison sentence. As reported by Page Six, the reality star who pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud and received 15 months in prison, now claims that James Kridel failed to list certain assets on she and her husband’s bankruptcy filing in 2009.
The lawsuit states, “Kridel failed to perform a reasonable investigation concerning the petition, schedules and statement of financial affairs.”
The lawsuit further contends that the actions of the Madison Avenue attorney caused Giudice to lose income and led to her being publicly ridiculed among other things.
Kridel has reportedly not yet commented about the allegations presented in the malpractice claim.
