New York – Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have officially separated. As reported by WebProNews, Cannon confirmed the news during a recent appearance on Good Morning America.
Cannon said that the couple’s main focus now is on their children, twins Monroe and Moroccan who were born in 2011.
Cannon is quoted as stating during the interview, “Always focus on family. We’ll forever be family. At the same time, we’re there for our children, making them the No. 1 priority and understanding they’re loved and can have an amazing holiday.”
The entertainer appeared on the show to promote his new book Roc And Roe’s 12 Days Of Christmas, and stated of being inspired by his children to write it, “They’re full of so much personality I was inspired to write this book. Each and every day with them is crazy.”
