Pennsylvania – The stepfather of Jessica Padgett sexually abused her corpse after killing her, prosecutors allege. As reported by WebProNews, Padgett’s stepfather, Gregory Graf, is stated to have videotaped the sexual act after shooting her.
Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli expressed the belief that necrophilia was the primary motive in the murder.
The body of Padgett, who was a married mother of three, was found on Graf’s property in November. Graf admitted to shooting her after being arrested. An abuse of corpse charge will also be filed against Graf following the recovery of the video recording from his computer.
Morganelli is quoted as stating of the charge, “It is not a capital case. We’ve reviewed the aggravating factors.”
