New York – The daughter of Eric Garner, who died after being placed in a chokehold by officers with the NYPD, posted the address of one of the police officers involved on social media. As reported by WebProNews, the post on Twitter has since been removed; however, hundreds of people viewed it prior.
The incident was reported after the deaths of two NYPD policemen were shot and killed amid racial tension in the city over Garner’s death. Protestors in the city have enacted multiple demonstrations since a Staten Island grand jury decided not to indict Officer Daniel Pantaleo in connection with the incident.
A source with the NYPD is quoted as stating of tweet sent out by Garner’s daughter, “clearly wants someone to go to the officer’s house and assassinate him in cold blood just like [Rafael] Ramos and [Wenjian] Liu.”
