New York – NFL player Tim Tebow helped sponsor 50 special needs proms through his foundation. As reported by WebProNews, Tebow and the organization announced that they would be sponsoring the events across the country in an initiative called Night to Shine.
The events will reportedly be free to attendees and will take place on the day before Valentine’s Day.
A spokesperson for the Tim Tebow Foundation, executive director Erik Dellenback, is quoted as stating to GreenvilleOnline about the event, “Everyone should have the opportunity to experience a prom where they feel loved and welcomed and we pray this event will positively impact the lives of thousands of people across the country.”
