California – Reality star Kim Kardashian’s once popular app is reportedly falling off the charts. As reported by WebProNews, the app failed to reach it’s projected $200 million mark in earnings for Glu Mobile after generating an estimated 20 million players across the globe.
The app has; however, seen some success following its June release, earning more than one million in the first week of being released.
As noted in the report, the app was listed in the Apple Store’s Top 5, but declined on the charts during the holidays.
The celebrity app allows players to complete quests in an effort to become a virtual Hollywood celebrity. Kardashian, who is married to Kanye West, is stated to own 45 percent of the net profit. The game’s third quarter earnings were $43 million. Its fourth quarter earnings are expected to be released next month.
