Washington – Former Secretary of State and Democratic presidential candidate Hilary Clinton has began making rounds speaking out about the proposed need for immigration reform. According to a report by the Associated Press (AP), Clinton laid the foundation for her agenda concerning the controversial matter on Tuesday during a stop in Nevada. The visit was her first to the state since announcing her plans to run for U.S. President in the 2016 election.

Many are closely watching Clinton’s statements on immigration, and are questioning whether her stance will lead her to extend the executive actions of President Barack Obama to prevent millions of immigrants from being deported if elected.

In an effort to block Obama’s plan, 26 states have filed a lawsuit. Challenges were heard by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans last month. The court has yet to deliver a ruling.
