U.S. – A man has admitted to the shooting death of a four-year-old child in a road rage incident that occurred on a major highway in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As reported by Reuters, ?Tony Torrez, 32, is facing multiple charges in connection with the death of Lilly Garcia including murder and assault with intent to commit a felony.

Garcia was a passenger riding in her family’s vehicle when the driver of another vehicle who had cut them off shot her after getting into an exchange with her father.
?
A statement released by the Albuquerque Police Department said that Torrez “confessed to investigators he was responsible for the murder.”
?
The statement also said of the incident “The two drivers exchanged words when Torrez pulled out a gun and shot at the red truck driven by Lilly's father. Lilly was hit at least once in the head.”

At the time of the report, Torrez was being held on a $650,000 bond in the Bernalillo County Metro Detention Center.
