The company announced today their participation in a first planned ‘Closed Loop Biomass Farm’ Located in the South East USA.
The development of this ‘Closed Loop Biomass Farm’ centers on the partners ability to manage, harvest and produce sustainable closed-loop biomass, green electricity, and wood fuel pellets. Capital placement will be used to complete the purchase of outstanding acreage required for the 50,000 acre biomass farm, upgrading on the ground existing physical assets , state of the art Green Technologies Industrial Park and construction of a 250,000 ton per year wood fuel pellet mill with the potential of producing Torrefied Pellets ( aka: Bio-Coal) . The Fund intends to raise and invest $275 Million in forestland and processing infrastructure to sustain and produce biomass fuel and an operating generation facility selling renewable electric power directly to the grid. The pellet production would be earmarked for the North American markets and export to Europe.
