Aurora Global Markets Limited Launches AGM Trader
New CFD and FX Trading Platform Designed for Emerging Markets
/EIN News/
27th January 2009 – AGM Trader is a new and innovative online trading platform specifically designed to allow both individual traders and institutions with trading clients to access a user friendly, fast and comprehensive platform offering contracts for difference (CFD’s) for stocks indices, equities, metals, commodities, interest rates as well as forex trading. The new service allows investors the opportunity to take advantage of rising or falling markets.
The platform has been designed to appeal to traders from emerging markets and to the institutions that advise or act for them. It meets the needs of both the experienced trader and those new to the CFD and Foreign Exchange markets. For the novice the AGM team are available to guide and educate them through online tutorials and a frequently asked questions section of the client service side portion of the website.
The management have appointed sales representatives in four regions which it intends to focus on – Latin America, Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. Later this year the platform will be made available in Arabic, Portuguese, Polish and Spanish.
Product features include:
– Free demo account with 10,000 “virtual dollars” to practise with
– Individual or joint accounts
– Complete range of global equity indices, stocks in major markets, currency crosses and futures contracts
– Direct access to dealers and a comprehensive customer service offering
– To celebrate the launch, AGM are offering new investors £250 (or currency equivalent) cashback against losses (subject to terms and conditions)
– Minimum account opening balance is £250 or currency equivalent
– Sophisticated Charting Functionality
The AGM team have vast experience of international markets and of online CFD and FX dealing and have been brought together to develop and promote this new platform. AGM Trader utilises the best available design and technology to provide online processes that deliver a sophisticated and comprehensive product which is very fast and easy to use.
The company believes that the time is right to launch as, unlike traditional investment products, CFD’s allow investors to benefit from falling as well as rising markets. The company also cites the good results of its competitors as evidence that the industry is experiencing a marked upturn. The volatility in the market has made CFD’s very interesting for traders, and potentially very rewarding.
Julian Soper, Chief Executive of Aurora Global Markets said, “In many developing markets there is demand for access to a sophisticated online trading platform providing retail investor with trading tools, market information and access that in the past would only have been available to traders working in large professional dealing rooms.
Recent poor performance of domestic markets and the current high level of market volatility have increased such interest – particularly for a platform which allows investors to benefit from falling as well as rising markets. In turn, institutions are looking for partners to help them broaden their product range and satisfy the demands of their clients. AGM Trader has been designed to fill both gaps.”
AGM Trader is a financial services company based in London and regulated by the UK Financial Services Authority.
