State Highway 171 in Johnson County site of fatal Weatherford family SUV accident.
Dallas, TX (AmericanInjuryNews.com)–The Dallas Morning News reported on Tuesday, 3 members of a Weatherford soccer family were killed when their black SUV collided with a Mack truck. Eric Meyer was driving his wife, two step sons, and another fifth grader on State Highway 171 in Godley, Texas to their soccer game on Saturday. A Mack truck carrying construction equipment and the Meyer family SUV crashed at around 3:30 p.m.
The fatal SUV crash killed Meyer and his two step sons. Candy Meyer, spouse of Eric and mother of the two boys, suffered minor injuries in the Mack truck wreck. The other fifth grade teammate was ejected from the SUV on impact and sustained minor injuries. Both Candy and the unnamed soccer teammate survived the horrible SUV accident in Johnson County on Saturday. Northside Baptist Church in Weatherford will honor the three crash victims on Friday at 3 p.m. during memorial services.
