FAA investigates Florida plane crash fatality with pilot ejection!

Daytona Beach, FL (JusticeNewFlash.com)–According to Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office, a Zodiac experimental aircraft crashed in a field off 161st Road near Live Oak on Tuesday. First Coast News reported emergency rescue crews responded to a firey airplane crash around noon on Tuesday and found the passenger dead. The pilot, Jimmy Burkholder, who was ejected from the plane in the crash, was found nearby.

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) www.faa.gov and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) www.ntsb.gov officials currently investigating the crash have identified the pilot and passenger. Jimmy Burkholder, the 68 year-old pilot form Suwannee County, was airlifted to Shand’s University of Florida Medical Center at Gainesville where he is being treated with severe injuries by trauma surgeons and nurses. Firefighters extinguished the flames and found 58 year-old Linda Sturtezant dead in the wreckage. She apparently died from injuries she suffered in the aviation accident.
