2009 faulty GM products may cause Hummer SUVs and 10 other car brands to crash.
Chicago, IL (JusticeNewsFlash.com)-General Motors announced an over two million motor vehicle recall including 1.7 million Hummer H3T SUVs and 10 other popular brand names. The major faulty product recall, of astounding proportions, includes brands like Buick, Chevy, GMC, Pontiac, and Saturn, as reported by the Associated Foreign Press (AFP).
According to GM automobile manufacturer leaders, close to 277,000 various brands, of the big auto maker’s 2009 vehicle line production, have a problem with the gear shift. Apparently, the gear shifter may not engage the transmission’s parking mechanism when shifted to the vehicle’s park position. The motor vehicles could roll away and cause crashes after the driver shifts into park and removes the key from the ignition. This defective product places drivers, passengers, and pedestrians at risk for serious injuries and damages.
Papers filed by company leaders with federal regulators outlined over 10 GM brands and further stipulated almost 2 million 2009 Hummer H3T SUVs have a fuel tank support strap fracture. The defective product, which holds the fuel tank in place, could separate from the SUV significantly increasing the risk for SUV wrecks.
