Four people in a car crashed into a cement truck in north Harris County killing one.
Houston, TX (AmericanInjuryNews.com)-Harris County officials reported a driver carrying three passengers slammed into a cement truck while the car was speeding north on Hardy Road at E. Richey. The cement truck driver was pulling out of a business parking lot at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning and states he didn’t see the speeding motor vehicle approaching as reported by abc13 news. The driver and passengers of the motor vehicle are believed to have just left a club. Harris County police investigators suspect alcohol may have been involved in the fatal truck versus car crash.
A back seat passenger was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene by fire rescue crew members. Another passenger riding in the front seat during the truck wreck was transported by Life Flight to an area hospital for their traumatic injuries. Area ambulances transported the driver and remaining passenger to another emergency room for treatment of their injuries by doctors and nurses. The truck driver was not hurt in the motor vehicle collision.
