Seminar: How To Profit From New Product Ideas and Patents
from the Authors of Business Success Through Innovation
With the goal of inspiring small and medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs, Dave Rogers (Patent Attorney and Partner with Squire Sanders & Dempsey) and Amy Hartzer (President of IsoPatent), co-authors of Business Success Through Innovation, will present a seminar entitled How To Profit From New Product Ideas and Patents on May 14, 2009 at Kierland Corporate Center, 7047 E. Greenway Parkway, Suite 250, Scottsdale, Arizona 85254. Those interested can register at http://www.isopatent.com/ and select either the breakfast session at 9:00 a.m. or the lunch session at 12:00 p.m. The cost is $99 per person.
The seminar will explain how entrepreneurs and businesses are cashing in on innovations and patents, how to create a valuable patent, the Twelve-Step Approach to innovation and wealth generation, whether to manufacture, license or sell an innovation, impactful ways to market an innovation, and information about those in the Top Ten lists for U.S. patents.
Innovation and patents are essential to effectively compete in todays challenging environment. According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, IP-based businesses and entrepreneurs drive more economic growth in the U.S. than any other single sector. Approximately 75% of the value of publicly traded U.S. companies is now in intangible assets rather than plant or equipment. Innovation and the control of innovations through legal mechanisms, particularly patents, are imperative for businesses and entrepreneurs hoping to create a sustainable, competitive advantage.
