/EIN News/ Los Angeles, Ca. Feb 8: Seth Rogan’s “Observe and report” premiered Feb 6 in Los Angeles. It is Jody Hill’s second film after the success of his low budget film” foot fist way” which was a launching point to Danny McBride’s career.
In the film Rogen plays a mall cop who is willing to do whatever it takes to realize his dream of becoming a “real” cop.
There is another man in Hollywood who seems to be doing whatever it takes to be part of Judd Apatow’s “funny people”.
A Canadian, Ryan Sebaa is certain that if he got his heroes Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow to read his script it will no doubt become a Hollywood hit. So last Awards Season he Came all the way from Canada to Los Angeles and started crashing A list events to find Seth and pitch him the script. Ryan embarked on an extraordinary journey defeating all odds by crashing many shows that include The Sag awards, The Gold Globes, The Grammys and the Critics choice Awards – where he sat at a table with Rogen’s friend Jason Segel, near Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
But it wasn’t until he crashed the vanity fair Oscar party that he was able to pitch the Script to Seth with a little help from Jimmy Kimmel whom he met few weeks earlier and told him about his unusual story. When Ryan approached Jimmy, jimmy said” I know who you are” and called on Seth Rogen to introduce the two
Seth Rogen has yet to contact Ryan Sebaa. In his website www.sebaar.com Ryan documented his whole experience, he jokes that it took him 17 months to reach Seth, but during that time Seth has kept busy and became a larger than life movie star, “and now it seems easier to get Tom Cruise to read your script than Seth Rogen, even Lindsay Lohan is having hard time getting Seth to work with her” he explains. The news broke few weeks earlier that Seth won’t call Lindsay after trying to get him interested in project herself.
Ryan’s script is called “MAKING OF SAM’S “HERO” “, it’s a comedy about a high school student who aspires to be a filmmaker and goes through great length to make a film before he graduates high school.
