New York, NY (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–Breaking News: Unconfirmed reports continue to hit the news medias claiming an American crew regained control this morning of a container ship which was hijacked by Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean. As reported by the TimesOnline, military officials with the Pentagon say the American container ship crew has one pirate in custody with the remaining in the water off the Horn of Africa.

The 20 U.S. Crew members of the Maersk Alabama container ship are believed to be unharmed. The ship, owned by Maersk ,was destined to the Kenyan port of Mombasa carrying 232 cargo containers of relief food for the United Nations programs in Somalia and Uganda. This is reportedly the 6th hijacking since Saturday by Somalia’s pirates. There are currently 4 U.S. warships in the region, along with vessels from 11 other international navies, to combat the Somalia gunmen, who hijack for goods to exchange for cash.
