National Transportation Safety Board releases early aviation accident findings.
San Diego, CA(JusticeNewsFlash.com)–On April 11, 2009, owner-pilot Friedrich Leo Weber, a 51 year-old Burbank man, and his 58 year-old wife, Mary, were flying in an airplane that crashed near Miramar Marine Corps Air Station. Both the pilot and his passenger wife died in the airplane crash. As reported by the Mercury News, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) www.ntsb.gov released stunning preliminary findings on Tuesday.
Federal aviation accident investigators have determined the single-engine Piper Comanche airplane broke apart during an uncontrolled descent, crashed into a hillside, and exploded into flames. The California pilot took off from Whiteman Airport in Los Angeles en route to Brown Field Municipal Airport in San Deigo.
