San Francisco California personal injury attorney-M. Alexander reports 4 dead after U.S. 101 bus crash.

San Francisco, CA(JusticeNewsFlash.com)–California Highway Patrol officers responded to a fatal tour bus crash on U.S. Highway Route 101 near Soledad, at 3:23 p.m. PST, on Tuesday. As reported by San Jose Mercury News, the tour bus, operated by Orion Pacific, overturned on U.S. Route 101 highway bridge on Front Street, ejecting numerous passengers onto the overpass roadway and the highway below. Soledad Fire Department crews, consisting of 12 ambulances and seven medical helicopters, responded to the fatal bus accident scene.

CHP highway motor vehicle collision (MVC) officers and firefighters with the Soledad Fire Department closed the the Salinas River Valley Highway (U.S. 101) in both directions for several hours to tend to the mass casualties involved in the bus crash. Three victims died at the scene, and one was pronounced dead at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital by doctors. Orion Pacific, an Orange County based charter company, was traveling from San Francisco to Los Angeles when the fatal bus accident occurred. CHP investigators claim dozens have been injured with the exact number still unavailable. Reports indicate 38 passengers may have been riding on the bus when the overture crash happened.

Travelers were transported by emergency medical personnel to multiple hospitals, some as far away as San Jose. The French consulate has confirmed several of the passengers were French tourists. CHP opened the northbound lanes of U.S. 101, directing traffic for both northbound and southbound motor vehicle travelers. Police continue to investigate the cause of the fatal bus rollover crash.
