Florida Turnpike SUV rollover critically injures driver and passenger in Davie.
Ft. Lauderdale, FL(JusticeNewsFlash.com)–Florida Highway Patrol automobile accident investigators were forced to shut down a northbound lane on the Florida Turnpike early Friday morning. As reported by the Sun Sentinel, a mother and her adult son rolled a 2001 Lincoln Navigator SUV between Griffin Road and Dolphin Stadium on the Florida Turnpike at about 6:45 a.m. Friday morning.
The female driver was traveling northbound on the turnpike in Davie when she lost control of the motor vehicle, struck the guardrail, and rolled the SUV, which ejected her son out of the passenger side window. Emergency medical personnel transported both injured victims to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood for treatment of their critical injuries. Northbound traffic was backed up most of the early morning hours and the Florida Highway Patrol reopened all lanes at 8:45 a.m.
