Fighter Badr Hari defeats Sem Schilt and presents his own clothing label!
/EIN News/ Kickboxing star and vice-world champion Badr Hari made Saturday night (16 May 2009) a devastating impression in the Amsterdam Arena, by beating 3-fold K1 world champion Sem Schilt with large supremacy and at the same time presenting his own fashion label.
Within 1 minute Hari had his opponent K.O. beaten, which was rewarded by the public by a standing ovation which lasted several minutes. Hari celebrated in the ring, surrounded by his friends, who were all dressed in suits of his new clothing label.
The clothing line is called ichtira’m (Arab for respect) and is aimed especially at young people such as himself: living in West-Europa, but proud of their Arab roots. ‘Our culture is too beautiful ignore. We like Western clothing, but our traditional clothing feels more familiar.
