International Association of Outsourcing Professionals Releases
Global Outsourcing 100 Plus Report
New Expanded Report Features In-Depth Global and Regional Analysis
/EIN News/ POUGHKEEPSIE, N. Y., May 21, 2009 – The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals™ (IAOP™) today released its premier 2009 Global Outsourcing 100 Plus Report highlighting the qualifications and capabilities of leading outsourcing providers and advisors globally, as well as reporting industry trends.
This newly released industry guide is an additional report available for purchase as a companion to the annual Global Outsourcing 100™ ranking of top service providers and advisors. It provides independently researched profiles of an expanded list of companies including their industry focus, service expertise and geography served.
The report will give outsourcing buyers and providers an insider’s look at the timely global and regional trends shaping the outsourcing industry from the top thought leaders at IAOP, the global, standard-setting organization and advocate for the outsourcing profession.
The summary reports that the companies ranked in the Global Outsourcing100 employed more than 3 million people globally and that both employment and revenue growth among these companies grew in the double digits. It also shows that the 100 top service provider companies come from 22 countries, demonstrating the global nature of the industry.
IAOP Chairman Michael Corbett said the association developed the new industry guide in response to frequent requests it has received over the years for a more robust research tool and from the data it has amassed from the Global Outsourcing 100.
“In today’s economy, it is more important than ever for outsourcing end users to be able to easily identify and select the right company for their outsourcing needs,” said Corbett. “The Global Outsourcing 100 Plus Report is the essential reference tool that companies have been seeking to make smarter decisions, saving them time, effort and money in the long-run by preventing costly mistakes. It will provide companies with valuable insights into the outsourcing industry, leading and emerging service providers and advisors, and key developments to watch for.”
The report will enable buyers of outsourcing services to easily compare providers’ capabilities using analysis from an independent panel of judges organized by IAOP and comprised of industry experts, and quickly identify industry leaders and “up and comers” in many outsourcing categories.
The Global Outsourcing 100 Plus Report also will let providers of outsourcing services see how their company ranked against other applicant competitors and better understand the key factors that the judges considered that can help them in completing requests for proposals (RFPs).
