/EIN News/ Mountz, Inc. introduces “Flex Power” a new line of pneumatic torque screwdrivers. Crafted for high production environments, the Flex Power air tools provide durability, power and speed for assembly and manufacturing applications at an affordable price. Designed for safe operation and increase comfort for operators, the Flex Power tools provide lower noise decibels than comparative air tools as well as minimal vibration and low torque reaction on the operator.
These rugged assembly tools increase productivity and enhance product quality through precision torque control and user comfort. Featuring a patented clutch design the Flex Power tools delivers reliable accuracy with repeatable torque control. The clutch mechanism shuts off the air supply when the preset torque setting is achieved, preventing over-torque conditions from occurring.
The environmentally friendly Flew Power pneumatic screwdrivers, feature a high performance oil free motor. Built with strong Teflon blades, the air screwdrivers require no oil to lubricate motor. Built with a new aluminum alloy to provide durability and reduced maintenance, the Flex Power tools won’t be plagued with cracking, fading or chipping, which is common with other standard air tools that are built with a composite body.
Easy to operate, Flex Power operates with a one-touch torque adjustment that eliminates difficult set up of air screwdrivers. The air tools also include a torque nut cover that protects the tool from incidental or operator tampering of torque setting.
Featuring a soft texture ergonomic grip for operator comfort. The patented grip is made with thermoplastic elastomer. Benefits of the versatile Flex Power are available in three styles for a variety of assembly applications. The different styles of the pneumatic screwdrivers provide manufacturers flexibility and ability to select the proper tool for their application. The standard In-Line models are available in “Push-to-Start” or “Lever-Start” configuration with various models covering a torque range of 2.6-95.5 inch-pounds.
The Flex Power pistol grip air screwdriver models feature a patented multi-air inlet selection, which provides versatility for an air hose connection with the air tool. Depending on applications and production set-ups where space may be limited, the pistol grip tool provides flexible options as an air hose can be connected from the top, bottom or back section of the tool. Various models covering a torque range of 2.6-156.2 inch-pounds.
The Flex Power is also offered in angle screwdriver option with various models covering a torque range of 2.6-95.5 inch-pounds. The resourceful angle screwdrivers are ideal for applications that have limited space restrictions and require a bolt or fastener to be tightened accurately,
Mountz pneumatic torque screwdrivers are designed for precision torque control and have become the state-of-the-art in innovative assembly.
