Delaware crash kills 3 critically injures 1!

Delaware criminal lawyers alert- Man charged with vehicular homicide in connection with a vehicle crash involving a Toyota Camry.

Seaford, DE—A two-vehicle crash left three members of the Georgetown family dead, and left an 8-year-old girl critically injured. The fatal accident occurred along Delaware 30 around 7:30 a.m., as reported by DelawareOnline.com.

According to Delaware State Police, a Mercedes S420 driven by, Darien Custis, 22, crossed into oncoming traffic and slammed into a 2007 Toyota Camry. The driver of the Camry, John B. Ward, 33; his wife, Joy L. Ward, 32, both from Georgetown, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by responding emergency medical services (EMS) professionals. The one of the Ward’s daughters, Sarah, 14, was transported by area EMS crews to Milford Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The Ward’s second daughter, Hailey, 8, was transported by EMS personnel to Christiana Hospital and then transferred to Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Rockland. Hailey is currently listed in critical condition. Police officials state Custis’ inattentive driving was to blame for the fatal accident. Custis was charged with three counts of vehicular homicide and one count of vehicular assault in connection with the crash. Custis’ is currently being held at the Sussex Correction Institution after not being able to pay a $16,000 cash bond.
