On the Fast Track from New York To Nashville
Bright Lights, Big Country
Nashville Tennessee- September 4, 2009 — Hard driving foot stomping country music set to invade Nashville and every other country hot bed. You wouldn’t think of great country music and New York together most of the time, but The Joe Bayer Band out of Long Island wants to put that thought more in your mind and make you think about it all of the time. Comprised of four guys led by Joe Bayer himself, this band has the sound and ambition to go very far maybe even all the way to the top in this tuff industry. Originally from Ottawa, Illinois Bayer has had some success already picking up a few indie radio awards along the way and gaining national and international airplay from his fisrt two CD’s. Now ready to release his third CD ‘Locked, Rocked and Loaded’ in early December, Bayer and the band joined forces with rock legend Gary U.S. Bonds to record thier new hit single “Hello Sunshine Goodbye Rain” which is being released to internet and fm radio stations all over the world . Bayer says it is truely amazing working with such a legend.
Gary U.S. Bonds has had much success with hits like “Quarter to Three” which appears on The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll list. In 1963 Bonds headlined a European tour over The Beatles. Having collaborated with some of the greatest all time like Bruce Springsteen and The E. Street Band and Steven Van Zandt, Bonds resurged in the early 80’s with “This Little Girl” a song that reached number eleven on the pop charts and number five on the mainstream rock charts. Having accomplished all that he has, Bonds a member of the Long Island Hall of Fame is also a renowned song writer having co-written “She’s All I Got” with Jerry Williams Jr. (Swamp Dogg) and receiving a nomination for the Country Music Association’s song of the year in 1972 which was recorded by Johnny Paycheck. With eleven hit songs under his belt Bond’ s collaboration with the Joe Bayer Band “Hello Sunshine Goodbye Rain” should be number twelve.
With thier video almost finished and thier song hitting the internet and radio stations all over the world, it won’t be long before everybody knows the Joe Bayer Band. Joe, Bill Burns, Tommy Dee and Terry Halik are on the fast ride to stardom in country music. Having performed at numerous award shows and opening for such acts as Tim Rushlow from Little Texas, 2010 should prove to be a very productive and big year for this group of guys who are on the verge of stardom. Listen for Joe and the boys on a radio station near you.
