College Station Police alerts Texas motorcycle accident attorneys- A motorcycle crash kills Texas A&M University sophomore.

College Station, TX—A collision involving a motorcycle and a car left a college student at Texas A&M University dead on Tuesday, September 8, 2009. The collision happened around 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of Wellborn Road and Joe Routt Boulevard, as reported by KWTX.

The College Station police believe a northbound four-door Mazda was waiting to make a left turn onto Joe Routt Boulevard, when the car got caught in the middle of the intersection as the light turned red. The Mazda tried to complete the turn, when a southbound motorcycle ran the red light and hit the right broadside of the car. The driver of the motorcycle, identified as Robert Spencer King Jr., 20, of College Station, was seriously injured in the wreck, and was transported by emergency medical services (EMS) crews to a local hospital for treatment. King, who was a sophomore at A&M, was pronounced dead by attending medical professionals at the hospital. The driver of the Mazda, Kirk Pullin, 20, of College Station, did not suffer any injuries as a result of the crash. The fatal crash shut down the intersection on the Texas A&M University campus for several hours until police officials conducted a full investigation. No charges have reportedly been filed at this time.
