Minnesota State Patrol alerts Minnesota automobile accident lawyers- A construction zone crash kills one and injures two.

Ellington, MO—A four-vehicle collision in a construction zone left one person dead and two others injured. The fatal highway pile-up happened on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 around 9:22 p.m. along Interstate 35E near Centerville, as reported by the Pioneer Press.

The Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) reported a 1994 Honda Civil was traveling at highway speed when the car hit the back of a 1990 Volkswagen Cabriolet, who then hit a 1983 Ford LGT Conventional. The Ford then struck a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt in a construction zone on Interstate 35E. Police reported at least one car caught fire as a result of the pile-up. The unidentified driver of the Cabriolet was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by responding emergency medical services (EMS) crews. The drivers of the Honda and Ford sustained injuries in the crash and were transported by area EMS teams to the Wyoming Hospital for treatment of their injuries. A medical helicopter reportedly landed on the highway near the scene of the wreck. The driver of the Cobalt was apparently uninjured in the wreck, and was able to drive away from the scene of the crash. MSP officials are reportedly conducting a full investigation into the four-vehicle crash.
