Kulivinder S. Sethi (Vic Sethi) The President of Hyundai Corp. UK arranges Englands leading Cricketer Monty Panesar to hold The Queen’s Baton for the grand launch ceremony for the opening of the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games on the 29th of October 2009.
The Queens Baton Relay is one of the most visible and important traditions of the Commonwealth Games as it will carry the message of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, who is the Head and the Patron of the Commonwealth.
The Grand launch ceremony for Delhi 2010 Baton will be held at the Buckingham Palace on October the 29th, 2009 in which Her Excellency, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Hon’ble President of India, Mr Michael Fennel, The President of the Commonwealth Games Federation, MP Suresh Kalmadi (MP), The President of the Indian Olympic Association and Vic Sethi will be present, after which the baton will commence its onwards journey.
The Baton will be carried in a procession from Buckingham Palace for an “India Show” showcasing the Indian culture.
Vic Sethi is also the chairman of GNG Football Club of Leicester, which has the largest number of players and includes 2 to 3 girls football team. Vic had created a partnership with the Leicester City Football Club, Leicester City Women’s FC and Leicester City Youth Academy with the former Chairman Tim Davies. They have been awarded by the FA jointly a £2m – £3m training ground where work is to start by end of October. This project involves creation of 18 to 19 football pitches with function halls in Leicester.

Vic Sethi came to the UK in 1991 during the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq on the 2nd of August 1990. He started his career from a family business based in Manchester and later in 1994 joined his father-in-law Late Mr Rajwans Singh Anand of Anand International along with his brother in law Jay Anand and uncle Babu Anand.
He is still in good strong with the Ambassador of the Embassy to the State of Kuwait and the officials in Kuwait and has strong ties in India.
Vic sits on the Board of The Prince’s Trust and is also the founder board member of The Rotary Club of Leicester Novice along with the British Asian Conservative Party of Leicester with Hon. Ashok Verma.
