New Service Brings Patients On-Demand Access to Health Care Online
/EIN Presswire/ San Francisco, California – October 7, 2009 – MDLiveCare, an on-demand telehealth company, announced today at the Health2.0 conference in San Francisco a partnership with Google Health. The partnership includes the secure flow of medical data between MDLiveCare and Google Health, an online Personal Health Record (PHR). Specifically, any Google Health user that has an MDLiveCare HIPAA secure video, phone or email telehealth consultation with a board certified physician or mental health therapist will be able to share his or her medical records with the doctor in advance of the appointment and get records back after the appointment from that doctor.
The integration is the first of its kind on the Google platform, marking the introduction of telehealth services to Google Health’s directory of online services.

MDLiveCare is also one of the first integrated services to offer up a complete history of the doctor’s clinical notes in a patient’s Google Health Account, allowing for enhanced portability and continuity of care.
