Darold Pinnock (AKA SKILLA) sets up SKILLA last year (2008) after working as a freelance graphic and web designer. The clothing breathes some fresh and fly air into typography making it wearable, abstract and cool. With influences in music, comics and urban art and architecture, that cosmic cocktail turns into some super wicked designs. It’s a limited edition brand meaning that you won’t find the masses wearing them.
SKILLA was a high school nickname of Darold, that his friends gave him. They thought he was skilled in various areas, mainly dancing & drawing, and the name kind of stuck. So he decided to name this clothing line SKILLA because it’s a pretty unique name and that uniqueness perfectly symbolizes the exclusiveness of the brand. The brand concentrates more on the constructive and encouraging characteristics of life. Our aim is to pay great attention to our clothing’s details, engage and create lifelong relationships with our customer.
