Despite Blockbuster 2009, Susan Boyle Snubbed by Brit Awards
January 18, 2010 /EIN PRESSWIRE/ One thing Susan Boyle, one of the biggest singing stars in Britain if not the world, won’t be taking home is a Brit Award, as she was snubbed from nomination, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
Some industry insiders think that the snub is not directed at Ms. Boyle as much as it is Simon Cowell, the man who took her from obscurity to the world’s stage. Others think the snub may have been less political, that the industry wants to present itself as more cutting-edge and “cool.”
