A Santa Fe man is reportedly suing his neighbor for allegedly contributing to his “electromagnetic allergy” symptoms.
Santa Fe (WiredPRNews.com) – A Santa Fe man has reportedly filed a lawsuit against his neighbor for creating electromagnetic waves that aggravate his purported “electromagnetic allergies.” As reported by The Huffington Post, Arthur Firstenberg is suing his neighbor Raphaela Monribot for refusing to turn off her wireless connections when not using them.
As noted in the report, Firstenberg claims to suffer from a condition that makes him sensitive to certain electronic devices, and experience nausea, vomiting, and other serious ailments when exposed to them while they are in use. He reportedly filed the lawsuit after Monribot refused his requests to turn off devices such as her cell phone and computer due to his sensitivity to them.
As further noted by The Huffington Post, Firstenberg belongs to a group seeking to have Wi-Fi hotspots removed from public places, asserting that EMS is a disability.
